NAGEL WORKSHOP HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 2022.

The NAGEL Project, Engaging African Realities is set to explore Nigerian Cinema in relation to African Traditional Histories, Values, and Spirituality. A workshop was held at the Institute of African and Diaspora Studies, University of Lagos on November 2, 2022. 

Speakers present at the workshop were: Prof. Tunji Azeez (FTA), Prof. Benson Igboin (Dept. of Religion and African Culture, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko), Dr. Philomena Ofuafo (Dept. of Religious Studies, University of Lagos), Prof. Victor O. Edo (Dept. of History, University of Ibadan), Dr. Tomori Oluwunmi (Dept. of Theatre Arts, Fed. College of Education, Abeokuta), Mrs. Obumneke Stellamarris Anyanwu, University of Nigeria, Nsukka) and Mr. Tosin Amire (Sound Insights Production, Lagos).
