IADS 2024/2025 BEST GRADUATING STUDENT

The Institute of African and Diaspora Studies proudly announces that Kehinde Mercy Alabi, the Best Graduating Student of the 2024/2025 academic year, graduated with Distinction, attaining an outstanding Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.61.

This outstanding achievement reflects a consistent record of academic excellence, intellectual rigour, and a deep commitment to the study of African and Diaspora Histories, Cultures, and Knowledge Systems. Alabi’s dedication and performance exemplify the core values of the Institute and serve as an inspiration to fellow students.

As the Best Graduating Student in Masters of African and Diaspora Studies, she won the “Eleko Oba Sanusi Olusi prize” of Two hundred and fifty thousand naira (250,000.00).
