Dr. António Luís Jorge Gumbe, a Professor of Art Education and African Art at the University of Luanda, Angola assumed duty on September 1, 2026.
He is a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Africa Multiple Reasearch Centre (AMRC), University of Lagos. His research focuses on African Cultural Futures, decolonial archives, and the reconfiguration of knowledge infrastructures for African visual cultures.
