2026 AFRICAN UNIVERSITIES SEMINAR SERIES CONFERENCE
The Institute of African and Diaspora Studies (IADS), University of Lagos, welcomed participants, scholars, researchers, and distinguished guests to the 2026 African Universities Seminar Series – Nigeria (AUSS-NG) Conference, taking place from September 21–23, 2026, at the Arthur Mbanefo Digital Research Centre (AMDRC), University of Lagos, Akoka.
The conference, themed “Citizenship, Belonging, and Geographies of Conflict in Contemporary Nigeria,” brings together academics, researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to engage in critical conversations around citizenship, identity, belonging, conflict, peacebuilding, and development in Nigeria and beyond.
By representation, the Director IADS, Research Professor Ayo Yusuff welcomed participants and guests to the SSRC African Peacebuilding and Development Dynamics Seminar held at the University of Lagos. His address came after that of the Vice Chancellor who was also represented by the DVC Management Services, Professor Muyiwa Falaiye.
