Dr. Eleshin delivered a lecture entitled “Linguistic Pluralism and Indigenous Knowledge Production: A Preliminary Study of Eldoret, Kenya” on August 4, 2022 at the Moi University, Eldoret.

This study interrogates African indigenous language and knowledge production situation among the Kalenjin group in Eldoret, Kenya.

The outcome of this study is geared towards examining how the neglect of Kalenji speech codes could affect the production and sustenance of indigenous knowledge in the identified linguistic enclave.
