It will explore the ways in which the multiple dynamics of human\u2013environment relations and their grounding in African epistemologies, ontologies, political ecologies and experiences can be brought to bear in the reconfiguration of African Environmental Studies, and to the reflexive, multiple world-making practices that emerge as a consequence. The RS Ecologies will focus on the multiple dynamics of African human\u2013environment relations found in (1) socio-ecological system changes and innovations, (2) political ecologies and narratives, (3) mobilities and inequalities, in and of places, (4) environmental philosophies, heritages and knowledges.
